Last updated: September 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of Volition (volition.network), a platform for fine-tuning and serving open language models. By creating an account or using the API you agree to them.
1. The service
Volition provides on-demand fine-tuning and serving of open-weight language models through a web dashboard and an OpenAI-compatible API. GPU capacity is provisioned from third-party providers when you run a job and released when the work ends. The service is under active development and features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn without notice.
2. Accounts and access
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity that happens under your account and API keys. Access may be limited to invited users while the service is in early access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the platform at risk.
3. Credits and payment
Usage is paid for with prepaid credits purchased through Stripe. Credits are denominated in USD, are not transferable, and do not accrue interest. Training and inference are metered by tokens at the prices published on the landing page, which may change for future usage. Promotional or signup credits carry no cash value. Except where required by law, purchased credits are refundable only at our discretion.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the datasets you upload and the model adapters produced from them. You grant us the right to store and process this content solely to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the data you upload and that your use of base models complies with their licenses.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, infringe the rights of others, generate malware, or attempt to disrupt the platform or the infrastructure it runs on. We may stop jobs or revoke access where we reasonably believe usage is abusive.
6. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. GPU capacity depends on third-party providers and is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page, and continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the updated terms, stop using the service and contact us about any remaining credit balance.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on the landing page.
